Thought for the day 28th of February

In the wind, the oak tree stands strong, whilst the pine tree โ€˜goes with the flowโ€™.

Eventually the oak tree will topple, but the pine tree proves to be surprisingly residual.

Which one are you, the stuck in your ways oak tree which will eventually fall, or the innovative and adaptive pine tree, which goes with the flow and when it gets knocked down it just bounces straight back up?

Thought for the day

If you set yourself a goal, and then have the will and the drive to work towards meeting that goal, you are more likely to achieve it.

You could sit by and do nothing, but if you donโ€™;t put anything in, you can guess what you get out ๐Ÿ™‚

  • Hi Christopher

Interesting thought for the day. I have noticed in the media business that unless you adapt and change you will not survive. I would have to go for the pine tree. Grant

    • Thanks for your application Grant ๐Ÿ™‚

Not sure why Grant but your comment was caught be one of my spam filters – Akismet. You might want to contact them about that, as I use both GASP and Akismet meaning very little spam, but if you are on Akismet’s ‘blacklist’ of commenter’s, then you might not be so lucky on blogs who don’t check their spam folders!

Anyway thanks for the comment ๐Ÿ™‚

  • I can correlate that to the competitive world of e-commerce. If you could not compete, you cannot adapt, you lose, you close!

    • It is surprising how well you can apply that idea Raymund, Grant managed to apply it to his life too (see above) and that’s the reason I include things like that, its a thought for the day ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks for the comment, I haven’t seen you here before, it’s always nice to see a new face!
