Today is summer solstice!

6 months ago I wrote about how it was winter solstice in the northern hemisphere, and summer solstice in the southern hemisphere. Today it is summer solstice in the northern hemisphere and winter solstice in the southern hemisphere :-)

Today is the longest and shortest day of the year across the world!

My article on winter solstice explained what the solstice means so I don’t really know what to write today!

Yes, failing to plan is planning to fail, but actions speak louder than words, and if you spend all the time planning, and never get round to any ‘doing’, then what was the point in planning?

Actions can often speak louder than words.

If you set yourself a goal, and then have the will and the drive to work towards meeting that goal, you are more likely to achieve it.

You could sit by and do nothing, but if you don’;t put anything in, you can guess what you get out :-)

Sometimes you can just go for something, and by chance, it works. However with most things in life, careful planning is the key to success :-)
